Having a buddy takes a lot of responsibility, but it's a load of fun to have a buddy.
Remember to only play with your prep buddy when you have an assigned playdate. You can say hello but don't hang around, because some buddies will get attached to you and when you leave for high school they will have no one to play with because they only played with you at lunch and snack time. Buddies can be really shy at first, but after a bit of time they will get to know you and that's why when you start to play with them, they will become attached to you, Becuase they trust you and love you.
Each time you go to your buddies you do an activity. These activity helps the preps learn in as many different ways as possible. It is wonderful to be apart of this, to see them grow in many ways, in confidence, in school, work or in life.
The buddies look up to you, so you have to remember to be good and wear your hat properly around them. You have to remember to be nice and say thankyou and please.
You need to remember that the buddies are smaller than you, so they can be a little intimidated. You have to remember to be a little gentler around them and to not be rought.
